For this project, we were tasked to redesign the IMAX website to include the new options provided. You can view my redesigned and revised website here.

In order to include and showcase its new service offerings, the IMAX corporate website had to be strategically redesigned. The main objective was to smoothly incorporate these choices while improving the user experience, maintaining IMAX's recognisable cinematic brand, and solidifying its leadership in immersive entertainment technology.

When recreating the new website, I chose to name this collection the IMAX Spectrum after reimagining the new website, the new services, the various screens, the film, and most importantly, how important light is to film and media.

The "IMAX Spectrum" website concept is expanded into a unified marketing campaign by these posters. The first poster, "Immerse yourself like never before," immediately connects the physical QR code to the new digital experience with a dramatic dark colour scheme and a bright focal image. The second poster, "Experience the spectrum of wonder," makes the abstract idea emotionally tangible by portraying the term "SPECTRUM" in a bold, gradient-filled typeface that implies light and range. The third poster, "In the vast spectrum of cinema, IMAX shines brightest," adopts a bold, assertive tone. Its clear, authoritative layout and monochrome colour scheme provide a strong positioning statement that reinforces IMAX's leading position. Together, they produce a captivating story arc that starts with a visceral invitation to immerse, progresses to a reveal of the brand's expanded possibilities via the primary spectrum metaphor, and ends with a bold assertion of industry leadership. This journey is unified by a similar visual language—the strategic use of darkness, light, and modern typography—so that the campaign feels like a single vision that effortlessly ties to the interactive world of the rebuilt website.
